A Bible Bible Timeline Poster Presents A Graphic Way To Help Teach Bible Events And Facts

In a Bible study some years ago, somebody, who had been a Christian and worked in the local Church for many years, made this statement,"Yes, but Abraham had the Law and so he understood about......" (they were not referring to the pre-Moses law) I wonder how many Christians will really pick up the inaccuracy in this statement. Moses existed some 500 years after Abraham and so it is not possible. I have since put together a Bible timeline chart and shown graphically the dating of individuals and events.

Why do we get stuck in a rut of our favorite subjects and feel good messages?
We preach on a verse from Job and a story about Abraham and a topical from the book of Judges and then the obedience of Adam or the faith of Noah - bits from here and everyplace, but we do not put it all together in a visible understandable, simple to remember, perspective with a decent Bible TimeLine with Church History as well. Constantly we're bombarded with new books, modernist ideas, a number of them hazardously edging toward Progressive theology, when if we could be taught the fundamental principles of Church history, we then wouldn't be so bound to repeat it.
Let's us as instructors and preachers sew together the fragments of the Bible and His plan into a seamless tapestry that our people can draw on for the rest of life, to help them to comprehend God, His Eternal Plan, the function of the Church and how to better translate the Bible to model our lives by.
It is not difficult to do, and it's not boring if we're ready to put in a bit of study and prayer and fervor, and just perhaps you can employ a Bible Timeline too.
